slackness on my part

Well if you couldnt have guessed it already i have been extremely slack on the posting side of things... i said it would be daily .. it seems to have turned out to be bi weeklyish instead.

but fear not, uni is nearly back in session and thus i will have more time to procrastanate and thue we will be back to the daily grind of things then...

anyway one thing i did find out though is my rss feed which you can sign up to my daily action and have it delivered straight to you with out you need to tell me your email address. it would be great if you sign up to the mailing list as well but i know your not all supermen/women....

Well if your like me and had been to busy with everything else you may well be forgiven for missing The Emerging Writers Festival magzine thingy at the melbroune town hall on saturday.

was a good show, i only got there for about 20mins for lack of prior knowledge and work commitments, but still managed to see a few people and get some nice little sample goodies.

from all the people i spoke to i might try and keep in touch and see if i could do some features of their work on the mothly part of this site. but yeah kudos to all those involed.

Shows start at 5pm sharpsih and if your've got a melbourne comedy festival pass your beers are only $5.

ok, im a bit hung over today, when out beer gathering yesterday so bare with me as i find the time to update everything and fix up logical mistakes on the other pages of trashicon...

but the main reason for this post is the brilliant fund rasing ideas that yarra trams have put together. if you have ever been on the old 'w' class trams ... the ones where you have to get out and push if the slope of the road goes over 25 degrees.. you may have seen this little sticker up the back. it applies to all those hooligans who live their lives to break the rules.

you are not allowed to get out of the wrong side of the tram. makes sense, most likely you will be run over by another tram, reason a: because that's where the trams run, b: because even if the tram driver tries to slow down, they have no breaks, so he cant.

but that's not the funny thing here, the thing is that if you do get caught 'departing from the wrong side' you will get slapped with a whopping ten dollar fine. thats it,

$10? i say its worth it for the rush... how about you...

Ha Ha De La Soul'd Out

well as you may or may not know (seems the way i always start these things)...

del la soul are in town again, they are playing tonight at the prince (as usual) and if you really wanted to go you would have bourght you tickets earlier. because their show has sold out...



thats right im sorry, but these things happen, well maybe you can see them next time. If you did get your tix in time ... good on you and have a great night out, and remember this is the only time you will not be glared at for drinking VB... because they sponser it..

the wednesday club

i like wednesday .. its the only day i have off from everything and its the day that i do most of the stuff that i should have done on monday and tuesday... most of all this wednesday i and going out drinkin.

but thats not what this is about.. last friday some guy emailed me and told me to check out his bands / his mates band or the band he manages . dont know to be exact and tell him what i thought of them...



well i liked them and maybe you will to there are called mr wedensday and they play ambiant chilled out tunes with no real way to catagorise them.

they have a myspace site where you can listen to them play .. do that and if you have enough money .. which i dont,... go and buy their album .. its due out in the near future...

Those little chumps from england are taking their good lookin girls and letting them loose on the dancefloors of downunder. and during the months of july and august you can catch them at a major centre near you.

The show will be on the 2 august at the palace in melbourne and at other places at other towns on different times around then.

the melbuorne show cost around about $66 and if you wanna bet the que you can reserve 'pre-sale' tickets from the frontier touring website by signing up to somthing or rather.

anyway they should put on a good show and well, hey ill be there if i get enough money or score free tickets....
